Drew Hamilton is a veteran bear viewing guide and conservationist based out of Homer, Alaska. For over 20 years Drew has led visitors, photographers, and film crews to experience the legendary bears of the Alaska Peninsula. Now as president of the nonprofit organization Friends of McNeil River, he fights the proposed Pebble Mine in order to save the best bear habitat in the world from industrial destruction. With so much time guiding in Katmai National Park, Lake Clark National Park, and the McNeil River State Game Sanctuary, Drew has an intimate working knowledge of the bears of the Alaska Peninsula and how this project would impact them.
