We are seeking preliminary film judges on an ongoing basis to join our roster. If you are currently working in the wildlife film, science, conservation, etc. industry and have an interest in sharing your expertise and have the flexibility to watch some films, we encourage you to apply.

Please complete the application form linked below to serve as a preliminary judge for Jackson Wild. The information you provide on your Submission Form will be used for all of Jackson Wild's judging needs throughout the year and you'll receive updates regarding film judging opportunities as they arise.

Preliminary judging assignments are reviewed on the Submittable platform. The greatest need is for judges willing to review 10 to 30 hours of films over the course of approximately 2 to 3 weeks.

The ideal candidate:

• Possess a love and respect for wildlife as well as people of all cultures and backgrounds.
• Have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable giving detailed feedback for each film assigned.
• Have excellent time management skills and be able to meet deadlines. 
• Possess a thorough knowledge and understanding of either film, science or nature.
