2023 Summer Internship Application Process:
All materials should be submitted to christie@jacksonwild.org along with a note about whether you would intend to be remote or based in Jackson, WY. Once a complete application has been received, Jackson Wild will contact each applicant to set up an interview via video chat.
Application Materials:
• Resume which includes personal, academic and volunteer experience
• Letter of intent (including dates available & areas of interest)
• One letter of recommendation (These do not need to be sent directly to Christie from your reference. You can include them in your email).
Upon completion of these materials, we will arrange an interview via Zoom.
Internship Requirements:
• The minimum length for an internship is 3 months, but interns are encouraged and preferred to intern up to 5 months for a more comprehensive experience and increased opportunities. All interns commit to working at least four days per week. Those who cannot meet this minimum are encouraged to volunteer as an alternative.
• Jackson Wild interns receive a modest hourly rate and may receive school credit for their work. All interns are responsible for their own transportation and lodging.
• After a successful intern evaluation, an intern will receive a letter of recommendation. If an internship extends through the 2023 Summit, the intern will have the opportunity to work during & participate in the event. Lodging and some meals are provided during the week of the Summit, but transportation to Jackson, Wy will not be provided.
