XR On the Exhibitor Floor
Monday - Thursday 9:00-6:00:

Drop in the Ocean
Picture
Experience the ocean from an entirely new perspective in this social VR adventure. Shrunk down to 2 inches tall, you’ll hitch a ride on a jellyfish and encounter the mysteries of the deep -- and team up to restore this natural wonderland.

Produced by Conservation International and Vision3, in association with Vulcan Productions and made possible by SC Johnson.
(You will be able to experience Drop in the Ocean starting on Sunday)

Polar Obsession
Picture
Join legendary Polar explorer and National Geographic photographer PAUL NICKLEN on an   epic adventure to Antarctica, across raging seas and into a dreamlike land…to come face to   face with one of Antarctica’s most iconic creatures:  a giant leopard seal. Larger than a Grizzly   Bear and intently curious, these apex predators        have never seen humans in their hunting grounds. This is the first time such an encounter has ever been filmed in cinematic VR. Harnessing the true power of this new first-person immersive medium – you’ll experience that transformative moment of connection between man and beast - for yourself.

Produced by Black Dot Films VR for National Geographic

(You will be able to experience Polar Obesession in the Delegate Lounge
 on Sunday also)

My Africa
Picture
Narrated by Academy Award-winning and Kenyan-raised actress Lupita Nyong'o, “My Africa,”  transports viewers to the untamed rangelands of Northern Kenya, where a community is reknitting the bonds that have long enabled people and wildlife to coexist.  The story follows the journey of a young Samburu woman named Naltwasha Leripe as she takes viewers through her community’s daily life, tending livestock, digging “singing” wells deep into dry riverbanks and rescuing a baby elephant orphaned by a poacher’s gun.

 Greenland Melting
Picture
Greenland’s glaciers are melting faster and faster. To understand why, and what this might mean for the rest of  the world, FRONTLINE and NOVA —two of PBS’s flagship series based at   WGBH —teamed up with Emblematic Group, X-Rez Studio and Realtra to bring this story to   life as never before.

Greenland Melting provides a rare, up-close view of icy Arctic scenery that’s disappearing faster than predicted. The team gained unique access to NASA scientists as they conducted groundbreaking research into a transforming landscape with ramifications for the entire world.

Everest VR: The Movie Experience
Picture
Walk alongside two of the planet’s best climbers as they attempt to summit Mt. Everest and neighboring Mt. Lhotse without supplemental oxygen. Travel with them through Everest’s grueling, oxygen-depleted “death zone” to experience elation at the awe-inspiring vistas at the summit - and glimpse danger and fear as the climbers experience the raw power of an avalanche.  Only 175 people have climbed Everest without supplementary oxygen – fewer than have reached space. Do you have what it takes to reach the top?
